Today was the big Junior High Honor Choir concert. I got a chance to spend some time with a former music teacher of mine, see my students shine in the concert, catch up with other music teachers I never get a chance to see, and get excited for the next two concert weeks for me! I am so proud of my kids and all the hard work they put into learning the music. This is why I love being a teacher and need to remember this when I have a hard day :)
Top 5 for the day:
1. Hearing the excitement of students who are about to perform.
2. A lot of "Thank you" compliments from my parents :)
3. Lunch with some pretty awesome colleagues at Chili's :)
4. Seeing my students perform in a choir twice the size of our normal choir :)
5. Driving with the top down in a convertible :)
